The Society of American Magicians was established over 100 years ago and is the oldest magic organization in the world.
Local groups around the world are called an Assembly.
In the Capital area the local Assembly is called SAM #24, the Jay
Gorham Assembly.
We are composed of many diverse individuals whose common tie is the
love of magic.
We meet the second Tuesday of the Month at the Latham Fire House on Old Loudon Road in Latham.

This magic exhibition is a collaboration of The Society of American Magician, Assembly #24, the collection
of Bob Connors, Cliff Bruce, Vinny Grosso, and many others.
Some posters were supplied by the New York State Museum.
Works by artists William R. Bergman, Steve Hollinger, Aaron Holtz, Larry Kagan Michael Oatman and Janet
Sorensen are also featured.
